1. Overview

Datlogix ("we", "our", "us") provides a Chrome extension and web application that helps freight dispatchers work more efficiently on load boards. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google account ID. We store this to authenticate you and associate your data with your account.

Freight Load Data

The extension scrapes load information from load boards (DAT One) that you are already viewing. This data — origin, destination, rate, equipment type — is saved to your account so you can access it later.

Email Templates

We store email templates you create within the app. These are stored on our servers and used only to send emails on your behalf when you explicitly trigger a send action.

3. Google API and Gmail Usage

Datlogix uses the Gmail API exclusively to send emails on your behalf when you click "Send" within the extension. Specifically:

• We request the gmail.send scope — which allows sending email only
• We do not read, store, index, or analyze the contents of your Gmail inbox or any received emails
• We do not access your email contacts beyond what is necessary to send a single message
• Gmail data is never used for advertising, analytics, or shared with third parties

Our use of Google API data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Your Data

• To authenticate you and manage your account
• To store and display your saved freight loads
• To send emails via Gmail on your explicit request
• To improve the service based on usage patterns (aggregated, non-personal)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (US region). We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), JWT-based authentication, and access controls. We do not store your Google password or any Google credentials — authentication is handled entirely by Google OAuth 2.0.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact us at chakopss@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google OAuth 2.0 — authentication
• Google Gmail API — sending emails on your behalf
• Railway — backend hosting and database
• Vercel — frontend hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policies.

8. Children's Privacy

Datlogix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a notice within the app.
